World Tree Organization began in 2009 as the brainchild of founder, Twalib Birungi. The organization is registered in the Los Angeles County USA as a dba and in Uganda, East Africa.

Our team members have experience and knowledge of the history of Uganda. Some have horticultural backgrounds, making them uniquely familiar with the terrain, history and landscape of the area. Our official tour guides are licensed and registered to do business in Uganda. Plans change and life happens, therefore, we encourage all tourist to purchase travel and medical insurance to protect your tour investment.
We have all necessary licenses and insurance conduct our business. Larger groups are encourage to assess the fitness of participants. The terrain of the River walks does not allow special accommodations for those with limited mobility. However, we do have other activities more suited for those with special cases.

Uganda is a very safe place to travel. Travelers to Uganda are greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The country has enjoyed democratic stability for over 30 years. Likewise, there has been a steady decrease in crime since 2016. This is attributed to a larger presence of police within the more populated communities.
Uganda has one international airport located in Entebbe which is approximately 36 kilometers (27.8 miles) southwest of the Ugandan capital city, Kampala. Travelers from all over the world have several airlines options available: Delta, KLM, Air France, Brussels, Emirates, Ethopian Airways, Etihad, South African and Turkish Airlines to name a few.
